Matt Lowery, LPO
Matt is an ABC Certifed and Texas Licensed Prosthetist.
In 1993 he orginally entered the prosthetic field as a volunteer but then moved into full time in the prosthetic lab at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. There he learned to fabricate all manner of upper and lower extremity prosthetics as well as unique special activity devices. During that time he earned his prosthetic technicians certification through the ABC. The rewarding contact he had with the patients urged his desire to become a prosthetist. While working there he completed his studies at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas; where he earned a BS in Rehabilitation. He then attended the prosthetic program at Northwestern University’s School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. On graduation he returned to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital where he completed his prosthetic residency.
